Jesus knows what it’s like to carry your grief and sorrow
Jesus knows what it’s like to carry your pain
Jesus knows what it’s like to feel buried beneath the weight of your burdens and shame
He was acquainted with grief
He was the Man of Sorrows
He entered into our suffering and pain
But that is not the end of the story. All of these things, He lifted when He conquered the grave!
So as we wait, we wait – not without HOPE , because this capacity He gave (us):
By the power of the Holy Spirit, He fill us with joy and peace day by day – to grow in trust of Him, hope in Him, faith in Him.
So pray your tears into the heart of your Heavenly Father. Lay your burdens at His feet. Trust the words “My God will hear me” (Micah 7:7); and know the promises He gives, He keeps:
- To be present (Matthew 28:20)
- To be loving (Psalm 86:15)
- To be gracious (Psalm 30:1)
- To sustain us (Psalm 55:22)
- To aid us (Hebrews 13:6)
- To be steadfast (Psalm 31:7)
- To provide for us (Philippians 4:19)
So cling to Him as always, in the darkest night of the soul. Wrestle with and plead these precious promises back to Him. He delights to respond to the prayers and cries of His children and what He has promised, He will do. Jehovah jireh provides. Jehovah shammah is present, Jehovah Shalom is our peace,Jehovah rapha is our healer, Jehovah tsidkenu is our righteousness. In all circumstances the question remains, is Jesus enough? He knows and we must grow to know that the answer is and always will be that He is forever more than enough.
